Working With Dave

In most cases, we’ll start by talking about your project and your goals. Depending on the project, geography or time zones, this could be in person, or via phone, Skype, or an online meeting.

Regardless of the format or venue, we’ll review a variety of topics, including:

  • Your project’s objectives
  • Your target audience, and the problems you’re addressing
  • The benefits your service or product provides
  • Trends affecting your industry or marketplace
  • Your company (customers and culture)
  • And other relevant information

With this understanding of your project’s objectives, I’ll dive into the research and come back either with an outline or a first draft for your review. Once you’ve provided feedback, I’ll prepare or refine another draft that reflects your suggestions, and we’ll go over the revised copy and review the next steps.

Some clients prefer to hand off a project and say, “Go write something.” Others prefer to be more involved. Either way, you’ll receive a project that you’ll be glad to send into the marketplace to represent you and your company.
